You have three choices:
1. percentage of budget
2. flat fee
3. hourly

My suggestion is percentage of budget or flat fee, unless you are an excellent time keeper.

A Big C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S to you. Now the fun begins, if I may make a suggestion, in order to get experience under your belt, you may want to volunteer at your local church, event center or chamber of commerce. What great references they make. :)

Across the top of the screen is: Assignments. When you click on it, a drop down comes up to "Assignment workshets, submit assignments and Review Assignments". Click on Submit assignments and it will walk you the rest of the way through. Good luck. :D

Have you gotten business cards yet? If so, go to your local event centers, chamber of commerce, churches, and party rental supply houses. Introduce yourself and hand out a few business cards. Good morning, I asked the same question and got some really good direction. Go to your local churches, chamber of commerce and event centers and volunteer your services. You may also want to check with your local party rental centers, they may be able to guide you as well. Good luck in your ventures...

What a wonderful, informative course. It gives me such excitement to know that I have gained so much knowledge from my tutor and her feedback. I still have some work to do on elaborating, but overall, I've come a long way!

Don't be nervous. It takes between 5 and 10 days for a response. Mine came within 5 days of me submitting. Be sure to not only check your grade, but below it is an audio that is extremely helpful. Good luck :D

It does not count against you if you don't do it. I didn't do it, simply because it is optional and I really wasn't sure. Hope this helps you make your decision.

I am able to find things in my area for reasonable prices, because a lot of the venues include everything (catering, alcohol, DJ, and a host of decorations, etc.) except the cake.
