Hi Steph! My name is Claudia and I completed the Wedding & Event Planning course earlier this year! I would suggest using Wedding Planning websites! There are lots of free planning packs out there, or sites that offer lots of free advice! http://www.confetti.co.uk is one of them. You can find so...

Hi Terri, thanks for the reply! It took me the full 3 years, but that was because my grandmother became very ill in the middle... and a few other niggles here and there! I'm 25 and I've come across a LOT of planners in their early 20's. I have no idea how they do it either as I'm struggling to get some hands on experience anywhere due to everyone asking for at least 10 years experience in the field.

For the day I'd say a fixed fee for an agreed amount of hours that you're required (e.g. From 9am until 9pm), and then hourly for any extra time after that. For weddings package deals are normally more appropriate/common - unless you've got a ridiculously enormous wedding to do, then maybe hourly wo...

You can get some quotes fairly easily online :) I've found it (so far) to be in the £208 per year range. It depends on a few things though, so worth having a look online and filling in some quote applications. You tend to get the quote online straight away, rather than waiting for someone to call yo...
