Re: Starting my first lesson
Congratulations. I know we've all felt that same excitement when we received our course material and started our first assignment. Welcome to the course. I just finished Unit A and am getting started on B. I've already done 2 weddings, and was so thankful I had the course material in my bookcase to ...

Re: To clean up after the wedding or not? Need help!
I am so glad that helped. It was a seamless way to say "I have all the details handled, but I'm not your maid". I actually have another wedding coming up this weekend, and am using the 3 day itinerary again. It really wraps everything up nicely.
Good luck!!

Re: Gaining Experience
Kelli, this is brilliant for several reasons, one as you mentioned is the experience. Two is the potential contacts you will make. Also, it looks like you already have a job offer. Well done.

Re: To clean up after the wedding or not? Need help!
I just had a wedding and adapted the "day of itinerary" to include the day before and the day after. It was something the couple hadn't even thought of. I itemized a list of items such as Clean up, taking the kegs back, driving wedding presents to a secure location, décor clean up and stor...

Re: New Student/Already Business Owner
This is a very valid question. I too have my own company and pricing is the hardest thing to come up with(I guess I haven't gotten to that point in the course yet). For me, when in doubt, I google it. I research what others are making in the field and in the immediate area. I've even gone so far as ...

Re: A2
The white course guide has more details of the scenario and questions. Being ridiculously obsessive, I typed in red the whole questions to let the course guides know that their assignment sheets are lacking.
