Etsy shop?

Hi everyone! I'm a certified wedding and event planner now, and I've been thinking of expanding my business to some small diy crafts like making bracelets or small centerpieces. I want to make an etsy shop for these kinds of things but I can't think of what else to make for it. Any suggestions?

Re: Completed!!!!!

Thanks so much for your advice! I did do some investigating into other business' pricings, and I think I will start out at around 1000 like you said. I'm actually from the San Francisco Area in California. :) We do have a couple of business plan templates on our government website as well, and since...

OMG OMG!!!

So I just finished my course recently and now I'm waiting to get my certificate after I pay off all the tuition. I already know my business name and I'm playing around with some business card designs, and of course working on the website too. But I'm still so nervous to make everything final! I want...

Re: New student in Los Angeles

Hey there! I'm about to be finished with the course actually. It's really great and I think you'll love it. I don't currently live in LA but I will be moving there before the end of 2016 for sure. :)

Naming my business

Hi everyone! I'm Danielle. I'm almost finished with my course (about halfway through Unit F right now), and I'm so excited to be done and get started working! So I thought I had all my life plans figured out, but then my boyfriend and I talked and some things are being placed on a small hold for now...

Re: Charging For 1st Wedding.. Help! lol

I read in one of the business books that you should always set the estimation hours higher than what you think it might be, so that way if it doesn't really take that long the client will be happier knowing she actually saved money than having to spend more. Hope this helps!!

Need help on C5 please :)

Hello all. So I'm trying to get through C5 in the event planning part of my course. I'm afraid I don't really know how to write this direct mail, even after reading the yahoo answers article on the AIDA formula. Is there an example of a direct mail someone could show me so I can have a better idea o...

First event! :)

I don't know if this really counts as an event in my planning course since I'm the client and planner, but I'm planning a surprise baby shower for my best friend! She's due in late December. It won't be anything too big. We are just going to have a couple of close friends get together and do a brunc...

A4 question

So I'm about to do the assignment A4, and it says to choose two locations to hold the venue at. Am I supposed to actually go online and look up venues? (Not that I have a problem with that at all.)
