First Meeting with vendor

Unread postby Stylishplanning » October 5th, 2014, 7:09 pm

Hi,
I graduated recently and I'm starting my business. One of my strategies to get know is build a relationship with a caterer or venue, give to them business card in return I will promote the caterer or the venue. In order to accomplish this I have been sending emails to different venues and I got a meeting for next week :). What do you recommend me to take to this meeting?
In advance thank you for your help.

Virginia, I've been doing weddings and events for many years...I just wanted the certification. Build you a brochure. use something like Resume type paper so it has an elegant texture to it make it look as professional as possible. . If you have worked on events or weddings before and have pictures, put together a portfolio. And show them what you can do and what you have to offer. Definitely business cards if nothing else.
