Charging by the hour

Unread postby tlc » September 27th, 2013, 9:06 am

Hello all
I have a quick question about charging by the hour
Say you charge $75/hr and your consultation only lasts 45 mins, do you still charge $75 (round up to 60mins) or work out the per minute fee and charge the exact amount, which would be around $57??
Hope I'm making sense
Thanks

I would say that it is a $75 an hour with a 1 hour min. So that they know they will be charged for a full hour at first.

I agree with SarahMarie, stick with charging a price for consultation no matter if you still have minutes left over. Just try to stay within your rehearsed time limit, so that you won't go over time and be left out of any income.
