So the guest list is of 150 people but the catering budget is set with a guest list of 100 people in mind. Part A is asking two ways my clients can keep the guest list at 150 without going over budget. I’m not sure if it’s meaning regarding the catering? Or if I can keep the catering budget and substitute the problem with another vendor. I’m so lost right now.

The couple has a catering budget set for 100ppl. They have 150 guest. You need to find two ways they can have 150ppl but keep their budget set for 100.
For example: Having a evening reception cuts down cost
Cheapest items on the menu
Does this make sense?
