Starting My Event/Wedding Planning Business

Hi everyone,
I've decided to start my event/wedding planning business before I receive the certification. Any ideas on how to gain clients and how to advertise on a budget?

Hi there,

I have 2 assignments left before I finished the course, but have already set my business up, Mermaid Events.

I basically use social media extensively for marketing, join bridal groups on facebook and join in conversations to offer tips & advice, set up a Facebook page woth regular posts which helps with yoru Google rankings, as well as Pinterest & Instagram to post inspiration boards etc.

Once I'd established these I invested in a website, with a blog.

I also offered to plan someone's wedding for free to get exposure and build my portfolio.
