Hey guys. I just submitted in my first unit and just got results back. Should I feel upset in getting an A-?
I just feel I worked so hard and I cant help but be disappointed at the silly errors I made.
Are we only able to know our mistakes by the voice recording we receive by our tutor?
Getting an A- on your first unit is a good thing. Don't be hard on yourself and/or disappointed. The entire concept of you taking the course is to learn and to take constructive criticism thereby allowing you to hone your craft. I have yet to submit Unit A for my course (Interior Decorating) but I can only hope to receive an A-. Don't be so hard on yourself, we are all subject to making errors until we perfect the skill.
All the best to you.
Getting an A- is brilliant!! I would be so proud of that!! You have room for improvement (which should always be the case). Take on board what you tutor has said and use the suggestions for the next unit.

Hey
I included pictures wherever possible (of the guest speakers and possible corporate retreats) and always included contact information. I tried to give a brief description for things as well, for instance when listing potential venues I would add a blurb such as "this venue would be perfect for a elegant, sophisticated event," etc. I tried to approach it as if I would telling a client who knew nothing about this business. I hope this helps I received an A+ for my first unit and just sent in my second. Fingers crossed!
