That's great that you're able to come back to it! Which course are you taking? I'm enjoying the design course myself.

That's great. I too had stepped away for a while (3 years actually) due to personal issues. I only have 1 more unit to finish before I am complete. Welcome back!

UNIT E STEP 5

Unread post by jacoul »

Was wondering if someone could elaborate on Step 5, Unit E. It states, design an improved layout for the room on paper. Would that be graph paper?

Well done on getting back to it, I've also had some time away due to being flat out with family and work. Also glad to be back into it again and have devoted one day a week to study. I have units E and F to complete

Oh my gosh! Good job! Seeing your post made me feel so much better knowing that I wasn't the only one that had to stop my studies to get stuff done. Yay!

This site makes me feel better! I stepped away for about 4 years, as it was mandated by my job that I complete a Masters in Rehab Counseling. I am a "woman of a certain age" , so also had to take time to care for my father, too.
I am interested in Party Planning...NOT Wedding Drama... I hope to be a certified party planner when I retire in several years.
I have been told my entire life that "party planning" is my calling, so I am looking forward to completing my course work!
Anyone else out there over 50 and looking to start a new career?

I'm also back and determined. I enrolled in the course back in September and due to some life issues I did not get off to a good start. I am ready to do this and very determined to get it done. I look forward to reading all of the post that Im sure will help me to stay focused and motivated.

Hi. I had to take a break from studies as I look after my mother and help with my in-laws. I too am in my 50's and just want to do something different and exciting. I have helped out with putting on events and loved it all. Can't wait to be finished and certified (my husband says I should be!!) it's a bit daunting starting to study again, but I am sure once I get going it will be great. Good luck all
