New near Nottingham, UK?

Unread postby HayleyField » October 26th, 2012, 2:38 pm

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for people in my area who are doing the event & wedding planning course to maybe meet up and discuss ideas/help each other with studying and maybe do some networking?

I live in Nottingham, UK.

Good luck with your studies everyone!

Hayley

Hi Bobbie,

Great to know there is someone close to me studying the course too.

How are you getting on? I've just submitted Unit B last week, and just starting assignment 1 of Unit C today.

Best of luck with your studies!

Hi Lesley,

I'm also trying to do it alongside a full time job, which is quite a stretch, it can be difficult to find time.

I've got my marks for Units A & B though and that's really spurred me on - I'm just finishing assignment 2 on Unit C. I'm settimg myself a goal of completing the course by the end of March (so hopefully a unit a month).

Let me know how you're getting on, and if you're interested in keeping in contact to discuss assignments/ideas etc.

best of luck with your studies! :D

Hi Suzanne,

Great stuff - I'm sure you'll really enjoy the course - I've found it enjoyable to study in the most part (the videos are a little dry but you get used to them)!

Other than that its great and I feel quite confident that I can put everything I've learned to good use.

Best of luck with your studies, let me know how you get on!

Hi Hayley

Happy New Year! How's it going? I'm not doing too badly, just getting ready to submit my first Unit. I was planning on taking some time out over the Christmas period to get quite a bit done - but that never happened! So, I decided to get back on to it today. I want to wait until I get my grade/feedback for Unit A before I move on to Unit B.

Hi Hayley,

My name is Nadja Lees, recently enrolled on the Event and Wedding Planning course.
I live in Derbyshire and I'm currently looking for some work but haven't found any opportunities yet.

Nearly completed unit A but I want to find some work to do alongside the course, stuck in a rut at the moment

Hi

I'm from South Wales UK

I think i have just about finished the first unit with only my optional assignment to complete. I am a bit worried that some of my explanations or descriptions dont seem long enough and alot of the questions in the assignments only reqire one word answers is this right?

Help

thanks

Hi Claire,

Don't worry, I also found that for Unit A, I think it's just to ease you into the course, as the subsequent units are a bit more in-depth, so take a bit longer to complete.

If you're unsure though I would wait for the feedback once you've submitted and start Unit B after that.

I'm sure you'll be fine though - let me know how you get on!

Hi everyone I'm Jo from Devon but currently live in mid-Wales until May/June. I signed up on Monday and I'm just waiting for the materials to arrive. I hope it doesn't take too long...

Hi all!
I live in Lincoln and also have a London base, I just submitted Unit A of the Wedding and Events course this morning. It's a great course but soooo much to read. Think I'm going to re-read the Unit A stuff again now I've finished it before I start on B
