Saving Assignments

Hello All! I just recently got a MacBook Pro and I can't seem to figure out how to save all of my assignments in some sort of folder (so I can keep them organized) so when I'm done the unit I can submit everything rather than keeping them all open all of the time.

I am having a hard time too. I can't seem to add photos to "pages" and then convert them correctly to a word document.
