The photograph of the empty client's bedroom looks like there is a second room through the opening in the door. Are we suppose to include that room in our French Rococo design? Is it a large walk in closet? What the heck is it?
I'm on my last topic in UNIT B. I saw that too but I only concentrated on the more obvious room with a dome ceiling. I will let you know once I have submitted my Unit B hopefully in a week's time.
I just designed the large room and didn't do anything with/for the room through the doorway. My tutor didn't mention that I should have included that other room.
I did not include that room either just the main room.
I already received my grade and the tutor did not mention anything about designing the second room.
Thank you everybody
Hi, I am struggling with this one, not so much on the room as I am only concentrating on the room we see but more on the furniture / decor. Have you search and incorporated the French Rococo furniture as can be found on Pinterest or did you look for something similar but more modern? I am not sure I am clear in my question. Thanks
I did find French Rococo furnishing etc on Pinterest. I kept true to client's wishes but I did tone down this style mostly. I did add one more modern piece of furniture with a nod to the historical style. I also used some more contemporary patterns in many of the fabrics. Maybe find one or two pieces to really go over the top with - a piece of furniture, a fabric, an accessory or a rug that really draws your attention to the style. I was nervous doing this room too. Not my style but I'm thankful for the challenge and now its one of my faves LOL. Hope this helps...
Thank you Cherryl, it does help. I just sent unit B so I will see what happens.
