D7 Elevation Rough Sketch?
On the elevation rough sketch, do there need to be measurements marked down like on the floor plan rough sketch? It doesn't show them on the assignment or in the text. But then when making the real elevation plan, I would then measure everything and then draw them in 1/4 scale correct? Any help would be appreciated!

Following - I was just wondering the same thing re: adding measurements to elevation rough sketch. If we don't hear from any other students I think I will add the most important measurements....
What did you end up doing? Or are you still wondering too?
Yes we draw them to 1/4" scale when doing "good copy."

Re: D7 Elevation Rough Sketch?
So i reread instructions AGAIN LOL. Heres what it says
Remember, your tutor needs to be able to see all your lines and measurements clearly in order to mark your work effectively.
Take your time ensuring you have a good photo and be sure to check your work. Save the scan or photograph to your
computer as D7Sketch.
It states "and measurements". Thats going to be messy......
Anyone have insight?

I am wondering the same thing, and do we do measurements of all furniture as well?
Re: D7 Elevation Rough Sketch?
My elevation drawing included two doors, a large window with four panels, a standing lamp and a mirror on the wall and a chandelier. I provided the measurements for the height of the lamp, the height and width of the wall mirror, height and width of all doors and windows (panels too) as well as the window in the front door. These measurements were included in my rough sketch. I was able to provide two lines showing outer and inner measurements I drew two lines along left vertical side of page and along the bottom. I did not provide measurements for all the trim, the inner panels of the windows or the detail within the doors but I did draw them to scale on my final elevation drawing. I eyeballed the chandelier. I hope this makes sense. I can try and explaining further detail if needed. You can always email the school too and ask
