Anyone know if we must use the 1/4" scale? The room I'm doing ends up pretty small on the page if I use that scale. Wondering if anyone has used the 1/2" scale instead?

Hi, I don't think you have to stick to 1/4" scale. For small room, you can use 1/2" and for large room you can use 1/8". I even ended up using 1" = 1' scale for an elevation drawing a very small kitchenette. Hope this helps.
