question about scale
question about scale
Okay this unit is totally freaking me out ;( So 7ft in a 1/4 scale would be written as 1'75" correct?
Re: question about scale
1' = 1/4"
so, 7'= 7 * 1/4' = 7/4" = 1 3/4 " =1.75"
that means, if you want to draw a 7' long in real life, draw a 1.75" long on your paper.
also, when you are using the scale ruler, the number represents the real life length. take 1/4 as example, number 2 on the ruler means 2', so if you want to draw a line representing a real life 2', just draw a line from number 0 on the ruler to number 2 on the ruler.
