Hi Nadine, I started the course in Nov. 2012. I'm from Canada also, Nova Scotia, actually. Where are you from? I'm on Unit B - finding it a bit difficult. Floor plans not really my thing. Be glad when I've finished this unit. Barb

I signed up for the course end of last week, can't wait for my materials to arrive. Am currently in the Event/Wedding Planning program (almost done) and have been very impressed with the program. PO really compliments that program as it will help with drawing floor plans, traffic flow, etc.

Amy in Wyoming: Howdy neighbor! i am living in the Denver metro area. Where in Wyoming are you?

I have started Unit A and can't wait to submit it! I think the sooner we build our portfolio, the better. It's great to have family and friends willing to let you photograph before and after pics :D

Hi Barb,

I'm from Ontario. I just finished Unit B. I enjoyed the floor planning quite a bit. It made me think a lot about the use of space and the amount of furniture actually required in a room. I really liked the hands on assignment in Unit A. Now my brother has an organized closet :D

Hello all! I'm Susan in Vancouver, BC. I signed up for the program December 2012, submitted Unit A about 3 weeks ago and received my results. I loved doing Unit A. As I was reading the course binder, I knew this was for me. Now working on the Assignments for Unit B. Yup. They are more tricky, but will be worth it. I feel I should be getting through this more quickly as I don't have any excuse not to but feel I will need help with this Unit. Eeeek!

Hi all! I am a newbie to this course also. I just received positive feedback for Assignment A-yaay!
Getting the files to upload so I could email them was the hardest part! :) I was seriously getting worried as my printer is almost dead (it's over 10 years old!).
I have OCD so I think this is the course for me! :D
I am in Maine but have lived in Louisiana, Canada (still have family there!) and New York also.
I am so glad to meet you all and hope we will be able to help each other out!
Best wishes to all! :D

Hi all, my name is Julie Mitchell. I am from Regina SK. and signed up for the PO program for a few reasons, I love design, I think people waste money on homes that are too big for their needs and/or move from one location to the other because they are disorganized not because the home isn't right for them or their family, and because my home is a mess and I will use the course to organize me and it. Its funny, I have picked up a few habits over the years that I continue to use-keys hung up, glasses in case and I can find them now where I used to spend 1/2 an hour looking for things before I could leave the house. Lol I am not a lost cause and I think I could help others. I haven't started any assignments, my course materials should arrive early next week and I am looking forward to it. I like the option of distance learning, but I do find I get better results if I have others to bounce ideas off of and talk about progress so if there is anyone interested in doing so let me know.

Thanks
Julie Mitchell

Hi My Name is Christy and I just started the course today. The professional organizing program is what I am supposed to be doing. But I see there is access to programs I did not know they even had available. Like makeup artist etc..

I do not see where there is the E- tutorial to utilize. it says it is part of the Unit A Materials Needed but I cannot find it on the website?

Hi Nadine,

I'm new to the program too, just got my materials the other day. I also signed up for Interior Redesign, so I've got a TON of materials to go through. My focus is going to be in PO vs redesign, but think the two program marry well and have merit to take together. I've started Unit A of the PO program and excited to start my first assignment!!! My issue is, I'm a mom to 4 kids and crazy busy!!! I've been doing the reading when I'm on the road with my kids at activities, but don't have access to a computer, etc when I'm out, so it's going to take some juggling.

I wish you all well with your goals!!!

Hello everyone,
My name is Josephine "JJ"... I am in the the Professional Organizing Program and am learning that all that is being taught I've been doing for YEARS!!

I'm having difficulty with the submission of my assignments due to a computer exchange, but I've been moving forward with the studies only to learn that I've been doing this throughout my home. Fortunately, I've taken Before/after pictures during this process.

I'm OCD and so I'm finding it difficult to create organizing projects in my own home. No worries,... I'll get it. FYI: In the Interior Decorating Course, there is a segment that covers the furniture layout and organization, so it's a double-whammy for me... just want to get the credentials.

Funny how everything "ties" together,... organizing, designing, color etc. LOVE IT!!!!! LOVE IT!!!

Hello everyone! I'm late to this post but I just started the PO program this past sunday. I submitted unit A just three days ago and I'm almost done with unit B. I kind of messed up and I was wondering if anyone could possible email me a copy of Unit B assignment B5 IDENTIFYING GOOD AND BAD LAYOUTS Layout 1 of 5 worksheet. I somehow lost mine.

Hey All! I've had the course for about a year, but finally getting to it after having a baby! A is handed in and returned already, working on unit B, which is taking quite a while. :/ I've actually finished C, after I got frustrated with B, and I am enjoying it a lot so far! I'm from Alberta. :)
