Being my own model

Unread postby shimmerglam » March 31st, 2013, 3:40 pm

If you read my earlier post, you'll know that it's taken me FOREVER to do unit B. I am almost done now and am having problems finding models. I have 1 more assignment where I need a model, is it ok to do the makeup on myself to get through this last assignment so that I can move on to unit C?

Hi shimmerglam,

Doing the required makeup for assignments on yourself is certainly an option. The reason why we ask you to find models is so you can get used to applying to different facial shapes and colors. This experience can go a long way later on down the road. However, if you find you are just having way too much trouble finding models, go ahead and do it on yourself. Just make sure you are not always only using yourself as a model.

Best,
