Hi I am new and just submitted Unit A. I am working on Unit B and having trouble getting good pictures for the blending part. I think the eye colors are ok but the blush is not coming out good at all. Any suggestions would really help
Thanks SD
im not sure exactly how you mean but maybe try using a different brush to apply the blush or possibly a different color if its clashing or different product if you arent happy with quality and application of the product.
hope this helps

Hi I'm recently working on unit B and I'm a little confused on the blending part. In the booklet it says it has an example in the resource CD but its not showing up. Any examples or help on how I'm suppose to do this assignment would be great!
I'm not sure if your questions have been answered yet, but as for the blending, I used the backside of my arm. I used a little moisturizer on it first and then proceeded to start applying the blushes and eyeshadows. Make your stripe down the arm, about 4 inches should suffice. As you know, when applying your makeup you get the heaviest concentration of product on the first swipe of the eye or cheek so as you "paint" a longer line the makeup starts to fade down. Once you get your line, pick a spot near the beginning of the darkest spot and start blending. Keep doing this until your blush has almost disappeared down nothing. Your finished product should be dark going into a medium color fading into almost nothing down a line. As for what it is supposed to look like -- go to your resource CD and under PHOTO ASSIGNMENTS Unit B will be there. Open the file in word and you'll see what they are talking about.

Hey I am also having trouble with the Unit B blending assignment. For me no mater how many layers i put on the back of my arm it barely shows up on my camera. It also kinda looks like someone just slapped my arm too hard haha. Are there any suggestions to help me make the blush stand out more? Thanks
Hello. I am also on UNIT B Blending. I am having same problem as another student. It says refer to resource Cd for example for step 2 and step 6. There are NO PHOTOS. anyone else have suggestions or same problem with CD? I know what they are expecting,( dark to medium to light to invisable) as they say it on assignment book and it is written on example on resource CD but like I said NO PHOTOS. Any help would be appreciated
If you go into your Resource CD, go into 'Assignment Photos,' select 'Unit B,' and finally select 'Assignment B4' you will see two color gradient photos that show you what your blush and eyeshadow applications should look similar to. These are the examples referred to in the booklet.
If you still have questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with the school.
