D4 help

I found several images of a Trendy look but for some reason when I try and upload them into the assignment part it won't upload. Is there any other place to look for images that I can use for later or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could it be that it asks you to put the images into a document and then save the file, rather than just saving the image itself? Maybe it needs to be a .doc format rather than a jpeg format?
