Hey Maddie, i didnt take the maekup course through here however I have been a hair and makeup artist for almost 10 years now and I have found that crackling makeup can be a number of things
1) Product-- can be too harsh or cheap or even expired
2)Skin type-- doe sshe have dry skin or condition sthat cause her skin to peel? When was the last time she exfoliated?
3) Base-- what are you basing the skin with creme? oil ? sunscreen? primer etc.....
These are usually the causes of cracked skin.
let me know if I can further assist you.

In Nathan's webinar last night he mentioned that cracking foundation could be caused by dehydration. He suggested using a moisturizer in those areas and drinking lots of water. Hope this helps
