Building Your First Makeup Kit
Hey everyone!
Starting this course, I realize there are a lot of products I need to purchase to be fully ready to do assignments on people. I was wondering if you guys have any good recommendations for products that are fairly inexpensive and work well on most skin types/colors- specifically foundations and maybe even primers?
Thanks so much!

Hey,
Yes there is a lot of products
I have been using Rimmel, not a huge fan of the powder foundations though but the liquid is good, I bought it on sale so it was pretty cheap
I only buy makeup if it's on sale, lol
You're in Australia right ?

I recommend anything from NYX, Elf, and Wet N Wild. They are also cruelty free and very inexpensive. Also BH Cosmetics is great!!!

hi
just started this programme . but have worked in makeup for 10 years my favorite primer is from a company called the cosmetics company
they are a makeup supply lab 80 dollar min of product for delivery, you also must have a deploma in makeup application cosmetology or aesthetics just to open an account. but customer service is fantastic.

A lot of brands like MAC, Urban Decay, Nars, etc. have student discount programs. You might look into signing up for them! Urban Decay's has the best discount I think it's 40% off? You just have to send in proof of enrollment in a program and your ID. Usually there's a "Pro" section on the site's FAQ.

The Maybelline Fit Me foundations are my fav in matte + poreless! Also 220 is the best shade for most girls with a fake tan or professional spray tan. Also the MAC prolongwear foundations are amazing xx
