Makeup Case
Makeup Case
Hello, everyone! As my collection of makeup, products, and tools grows, I am in need of a good quality large makeup case, preferably with a handle and wheels. I have a few small mediocre cases, however, I would like to consolidate all of my stuff. While I am not looking to spend a lot of money, quality is important and I would like this to be a good investment. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Makeup Case
I also have this same question... I have done endless hours of research, and I cannot find any that have gotten even decent reviews. All of the ones that I have seen cost about $200-$300 and about 95% of the reviews were terrible.
I bought my makeup train case from Sephora- it has since been discontinued, unfortunately.
I really hope someone can help us with this! Because, if it is a good case- I am willing to spend $300!
Sorry I couldn't help you Theresa, but I will let you know if I find anything! And if you find something, could you e-mail me at: jennifer.thompson7911@live.com
Thank you!! Hope you have a good day!

Re: Makeup Case
You can really be creative with what you use as a makeup case. Home Depot and Lowes have tool cases that can be used for your makeup as well. They vary in size depending on how much makeup you have. When I was a student at Marinello's. a lot of the cosmetology students used them for their supplies. It was big enough to carry the manequin heads as well as all of the supplies they needed throughout school. So try that route. I will be purchasing one for myself pretty soon as my makeup supply is growing. You can also use a nice. sturdy suitcase for the time being until you are able to get what you really want. I hope that helps you.
Re: Makeup Case
That is a really good idea. I was thinking about a tool box since they have fold out shelves which could be used for anything--including keeping your first choice cosmetics at hand for clients. I recently found a hard-sided suitcase in a leopard print at a used clothing store and thought it would make a great case. It rolls and has a collapsible handle. Plus in the bright print you know if someone is walking off with your case. It doesn't have any dividers, but I figure I can make some and I keep like things together in clear zippered bags with labels (lip pencils, eye pencils, paint pots, etc.) so I can find them easily.MM1260 wrote:You can really be creative with what you use as a makeup case. Again, thanks for the great idea!

Re: Makeup Case
I used to use a tool box, but then I was collecting more products and it didn't all fit. What I invested in was a large rolling case from Jo-Ann's. It was advertised as holding yarn and knitting needles, but I find it perfect for my brushes, theres good accordion pockets and I keep my makeup in plastic lidded containers inside the case (sfx in one container, foundations in one, etc.)

Check it out if you haven't already purchased a case! I think it is a great investment, and the dual wheels are awesome for saving your back when you have to carry you kit upstairs!!!
