Professional Discounts?

Unread post by habbott2 »

I am a new-ish student (I just finished unit A) and I was wondering what you guys sent in to get the pro discount and where all you were able to get it at? I was looking at some of these like NYX (which I thought was one of the ones where we could get a discount) and they seem like they expect me to currently be a working professional...

I emailed my proof of enrollment to Le Cosmetique and OCC cosmetics, both of which were acceptable as a student.

I have been able to get discounts from...

OCC (membership through affiliation with QC)
Stila
Nars
MUFE
MAC
Norcostco
Crown Brush
NYX (6 month student discount membership with proof of enrollment from QC)
Smashbox

Because I have certificates from other beauty schools, I was able to qualify for apprentice or the professional discounts according to the requirements by the vendor.

Hello all, yesterday i was able to get a student discount card at Sally's. They don't really have alot of big named products but can be good for last minute disposable items, lashes, polish, waxing products.

So where do you prove that you are a student like I have my student number but who do I send the information to. I have a sally's card and their stock is very limited. For peole wanting to buy eyelashes I just bought on ebay 60 pairs of 6 different styles for 12$. I though it was a really good investment especially if I'm not reusing them. I did find some mac makeup on ebay as well. I got a bunch of colors for 3-5$ and it's really good quality. If you shop at shoppers you can use your shoppers points and they normally have a bunch of stuff on sale.

But yeah I'd really like to know where I can get discounts so I can start super stocking my kit!

Try www.faceatelier.com
You can order samples of all their foundations and many other products before you decide whether to invest in them :)
