release forms

i will be performing my hands on grooming assignments on my own dogs does anyone know do i still need to sign the papers myself? also do said papers need to printed out and signed or just typed and uploaded

My understanding is that the release forms still need to be filled out even if the dogs are yours. And signed, not typed. I was told typed is not a signature
