Hi laurakaygardner,

You will find all the information you need about business plans in your 'Starting Your Own Business' booklet. Just remember that we are asking for a general business plan at this time. We realize that things may change by the time you are done the course, so don't feel like you need to have it perfect. Completing it is a great way to get feedback from your tutor so that you can complete a formal business plan later on.

Best Wishes,

I found that looking at the local competition's websites helps a lot - just as a starting point! They pretty much outline their business plan on their websites and include the packages they do. It's a good place to start if you're stuck :)

Make bullet points and go from there!

DONT SPEND TO MUCH TIME ON THIS. ITS OPTIONAL IM STILL WORKING ON MINE AND I HAVE ALREADY TURNED IN A AND IM ON B NOW. I FOUND MYSELF STUCK AS WELL SO DONT GIVE UP KEEP GOING. YOU WILL ONLY NEED THIS PLAN IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO GO TO THE BANK FOR A LOAN OF SOME SORT TO START YOUR BUSINESS.

Don't give up!! If anything in life were easy we would all have a shot! Take your time. One day at a time and yes i think the research online for your local planners would benefit you for ideas and outlines. Im on course C and still trying to figure out an outline but one step at a time!!

GOOD LUCK!

Hi, i'm feeling the same. I think I have a plan in my mind for my business but i think i lack confidence. I'm really confused. I know I want to work from home and for myself, but i dont know how to start. I need some ideas.

Although i've chose to the Event and wedding planning course, i'm more interested in Decor and to start off i need to start hiring stages/decorations etc but i seriously dont know where to start from. Does anyone have ideas? please let me know too, it would be grateful.

Thanks

Yaz
